HOLT CAT Ground Engaging Tools

Ground Engaging Tools

Cat's GET are heavy duty tools engineered with your entire business in mind - a ground breaking system optimized for productivity the moment you hit the ground.

Blade, Bucket and Ripper Shank Protection

Caterpillar® ground engaging tools (GET) protect your equipment. Choosing the right ones are important to getting the highest return on your machine investment. Ground engaging tools--edge protection, adapters, ripper protection, cutting edges, sidebar protection, tips and wear protection--protect the expensive parts of your blades, buckets and ripper shanks. The resulting longer life reduces your maintenance costs. Ground engaging tools also play a big part in determining how well your machine performs in a specific application.

HOLT CAT® offers many ground engaging tool options, because every machine and application has special needs. Our GET specialists and product support representatives are trained and experienced in matching the right tools to the application. We can provide technical assistance in selecting the tool you need for each specific job.

Caterpillar warrants most ground engaging tools against breakage. That is, if any should break during normal operation, at any time during their life, Caterpillar will provide a new replacement free of charge. Details of each warranty are available at HOLT CAT. Remember, never operate a bare bucket!

Increase the life and reduce maintenance cost of machine buckets, cutting edges, teeth and other high wear areas on GET components with the application of abrasion resistant material (ARM). The application of ARM will result in longer GET component life. This is recommended in applications where sand, gravel or other material severely diminishes wear life of GET.
